Drake feat. Trey Songz & Lil Wayne – “Successful”
I want the money.
The money and the cars.
The cars and the clothes.
The hoes. I suppose.
I just want to be, I just want to be successful.
If you don’t have this mixtape yet then I suggest you get in your right mind and download it asap. Amazing stuff. Inspirational too so I’m out of here til further notice.
Big up to the Villainous fam. Ain’t no love lost! One.

It could be anywhere. I’m actually paying full attention to the mixtape as I type this. I’m still not impressed so far lol. “Lust for life’ & “Say whats real” are cool, but I wouldn’t play it twice.

[...] Listening to Drake’s “I Just Want to Be Successful” made me reflect on the effect that being a celebrity has on young adults (males in particular) [...]

Maybe I read the song wrong, the money, clothes, and hoes meaning he supposes, he wants those things, but reality is he just wants to be successful. I can feel that. Nigga’s get caught up in that $hit, truth, is brother just wants to be successful, I couldn’t care less about all those things, what’s the point if you ain’t actually done $hit with yourself.
